Season
Late May through Late October
A Sunday departure from Split sets the tone early—lines cast off in the soft morning light as you ease into the Adriatic and shape a gentle course toward Šolta. The sail is short, ideal for settling into the rhythm of the boat, and by midday you slip into a quiet, pine-fringed bay like Šešula Bay. Here, the water is impossibly clear—perfect for a long swim and an unhurried lunch onboard. By late afternoon, you pick up a mooring ball in nearby Maslinica, a postcard harbor facing a scatter of small islets. The evening invites your first dinner ashore, perhaps at Konoba Šakajet, where simple Dalmatian dishes and local wine set an easy, welcoming tone for the week.
Monday carries you across to Brač, riding a steady morning breeze. You drop anchor for a swim at a secluded cove along the southern coast—perhaps near Lučice Bay—where cliffs shelter the anchorage and the sea glows in shades of blue. By late afternoon, you continue on to the marina at Milna, one of the island’s safest harbors. This is your first marina night, a chance to enjoy long showers and a relaxed evening wandering the stone alleys. Dinner ashore is optional tonight, but the waterfront offers plenty of inviting spots if the mood strikes.
On Tuesday, the bow points toward Hvar, one of the Adriatic’s most storied islands. Before reaching the main harbor, you detour into the Pakleni archipelago, anchoring for the afternoon in a hidden inlet on Sveti Klement. The scent of rosemary and pine drifts down to the water as you swim and unwind. In the evening, you take a mooring ball off Hvar Town, where the energy shifts—lively but still elegant. Tonight calls for your second restaurant outing, perhaps at Dalmatino, known for its warm atmosphere and refined local cuisine.
Wednesday stretches into a longer passage, heading west to Vis, the most remote of your stops and once closed to foreign visitors. The sail itself is part of the reward—open water, deep blue horizons. You arrive in the late afternoon and enter Vis Town, securing a berth in the marina for your second marina night. The harbor hums gently in the evening light, and dinner ashore becomes the highlight of the day. A table at Pojoda offers a memorable experience—fresh seafood, island wines, and a sense of place that feels untouched by time.
Thursday begins with a short hop around the island to a secluded anchorage—perhaps Stiniva Cove, dramatically framed by high cliffs. You anchor for a final swim in one of the Adriatic’s most iconic settings, the water cool and crystalline. After lunch, you begin your return eastward, breaking the journey with an evening mooring at Stari Grad, one of the oldest towns in Europe. The harbor is calm and deeply sheltered, and the evening is yours to stroll the quiet streets or enjoy a relaxed dinner onboard.
Friday is a gentle closing chapter. You depart early, catching the morning breeze for the sail back toward Split. Along the way, there’s time for one last swim stop—perhaps a quiet bay on the southern side of Brač—before continuing on. By late afternoon, you return to the home marina, the week’s rhythm still lingering as lines are secured and the boat settles. Disembarkation comes the following morning, but the memory of turquoise anchorages, stone harbors, and long, salt-swept days stays with you well beyond the dock.
This is an example itinerary only - weather patters change regularly in Croatia and the wind direction will dictate the final itinerary. Your captain will have an idea of the itinerary a week before your voyage after reviewing the weather forecast. This will be discussed with the group before departing and there will be daily itinerary discussions especially if there is a change of plans and to receive input from the guests. All Sailing Collective itineraies are fully customizable and your crew will welcome feedback.

July | A very popular month and the water temperature is increasing and by mid-July, Croatia is in the full swing of summer
August | Busy, hight of the season is August and charters in August should be booked in advance. Often every charter boat is being used in August. Not to worry, there are still hidden and secluded coves!
