The Sailor's Club (limited to 48 members for the 2021 summer season)
The Sailor’s Club is New York City’s newest and most unique sailing club. With a small fleet of classic sailboats located at Pier 25 Marina in Tribeca, Manhattan, members enjoy sailing 7-days a week. With daily scheduled outings, Members are allotted 20 guaranteed sessions per season - once the guaranteed sessions are used up, Members can sign up to unlimited outings on the waitlist. Each session is guaranteed and operated by a New York Sailing Collective skipper who both monitors the safety of navigating New York Waters and offers sailing guidance as well. Get behind the help and tack and jib or relax on the bow and explore New York City in a whole new way.

Pier 25 Marina is the heart of the New York City boating community. NYSC keeps its fleet at the Pier 25 Marina mooring field. The marina is lively and one of Hudson River Trust's finest parks. Post-sail, we can enjoy oysters and beverages at the Grand Banks Oyster Boat aboard schooner Sherman Zwicker. The pier is also home to a wide range of recreational activities such as volleyball, mini-golf and a number of concessions stands.

How it Works
For those wanting less methodology in their cruising, NYSC Membership offers daily sails on our bigger classic sloop, S/Y Finch. Join us for any of our scheduled sails all summer and even bring friends along at a discounted rate when space is available. Group sails for members take place 7 days a week and have a maximum of just 6 passengers on board with a Sailing Collective captain guiding the experience. This can be as hands-on or laid back as you choose, take turns on the helm and trimming sheets or sit on the bow with a cocktail.
Schedule
Members receive 20 guaranteed session per season. Once sessions are used up, members can sign up for unlimited sessions on the waitlist. Waitlist spots will be confirmed 2 hours before the sail begins.
Each session is led by a NYSC staff captain who prepares the boat and will be in charge of the vessel during the sail offering sailing guidance to each Member. Qualified Members interested in taking the boat out on their own can do so with the qualified credentials with an additional membership cost.
Membership Club Outings
Members outings will take place the first and and third Friday of every month. Happy hour will meet at one of the following venues: Grand Banks Oyster Bar, Pilot Oyster Bar, Steamship Lilac, The Frying Pan
